Holding Local Candidates Accountable: Questions from Our Community

3 April 2025

At our Mná le Chéile Hustings, we co-created these questions together as a community—questions that go beyond simple yes/no answers and demand real thought, real conversation, and real action.

These questions are a resource—for anyone invested in building a future where women’s access to services, housing, and support is a priority. They highlight the real barriers women face and challenge those in positions of power to provide concrete solutions.

✅ Use these questions when engaging with local candidates.
✅ Share them widely to keep these crucial conversations alive.
✅ Hold leaders accountable for the commitments they make.

This is about more than policy—it’s about our lives, our futures, and our rights. Let’s make sure those in power are ready to truly listen and take action.
